To all who lived before me
Ella Rizzi

19.07.24 - 23.07.24

To all who lived before me
centralises around the themes of memories and ancestral bonds, paying tribute to the familial connections lost due to conflict, immigration and time. Through the blurred and fragmented imagery of interiors and architecture, the works invite a sense of introspection. The works replicate the impact caused by the loss of memories, generations and family lineages, portraying an incomplete recollection of the past.

Living and working in Melbourne, Australia, Ella Rizzi has undertaken a
Diploma in Visual Arts and a Bachelor in Fine Arts. Her oil paintings focus on memory and family history, replicating and rebuilding forgotten pasts.
