‘HOME TELEVISION’ delves into the interplay between tangibility and perceived memory. Visualised in the disembodied renders of found photographs, the immateriality of nostalgia is interrogated. Iconography follows the nuanced landscapes of diaspora, weaving a tapestry of cultural interconnectedness. These pop culture symbols, compounded into digital aesthetics – serve as channels; unveiling the multifaceted dimensions of collective identity and the alienation faced in displacement.

Lance Zuniga (2003) is a Filipino artist based in Naarm, currently undertaking his bachelor of fine arts at RMIT. Lance works across painting and found object sculptures to produce bodies of work that often stretch and recontextualise images. Within his creative process, he often employs digital collage compositions to synthesise and expand narratives within his work.
